The worst enemy of your Wedding Event is only… YOU !

So, you have fixed the wedding date, the ceremony venue, the DJ, the flowers, the car, your wedding photographer, your wedding videography team, the make up artist, the hairdresser, (excuse me… I will stop here because the list is endless) even the seating plan with the “welcome cards”.

You have found over 100 “To do” lists on the internet and you made the biggest wedding list with all the possible (and impossible) things to DO ! You have tried so hard previous months for everything to be perfect, you were always on budget, you spend endless time, chatting, reading, and writing every single detail, so not to miss anything at all.

And after all these, things seem to be worst as you are closer to your greatest wedding day !

Nothing seems totally right, everything seems to have something wrong with it, and it feels like you are loosing the earth under your feet. But does this really happen ?

Of course NOT… Not at all ! Everything is in your mind and that’s all.

What if some guests will sit on a different table rather the one with their names on it ?

Now is the time to trust others like friends and families who would be willing to take on some of the wedding tasks for you. It wouldn’t be difficult to ask others to pitch in and help you get the wedding favours ready or to follow up on some of the confirmations for dates and times like confirming your Church, arranging for your accommodations for you and your guests, or arranging for some last minute details.

You are probably your own worst enemy when it comes to the stress of your wedding planning. Think about hiring a wedding planner if you have a really busy lifestyle. These are professionals who will make sure that this special event in your life is going to be a total success.

But what really is the meaning of the word “success” to you ? Success is everyone being satisfied at your wedding or you having fun and really enjoying your upcoming event ? I hear a lot of times brides saying that they don’t remember anything at all from their wedding because of being stressed even the wedding day ! Is that really what you want ?

I may say…. Relax, calm down, and everything’s going to be alright.

What if some guests will sit on a different table rather the one with their names on it ? What if the dresses of the bridesmaids were a little bit brighter that the colour you have chosen in the dress catalogue of the bridals shop ?

You had a great time, you were laughing and dancing all night long, and everyone had a great time too. You had the best professionals to carry about everything… and remember that you will always be a wedding amateur on your wedding day.

If you want some tips, these are the most simple and best advised…

-Keep Your Guests Comfortable

-Keep the Party Moving

-Get Your Guests on the dance floor ASAP

-Make sure there is enough food

And the most important… BE YOURSELF !
