What makes your wedding day great ?

Notice: In this article, you are not going to see the “most beautiful photos” of the wedding day. You will see the “most beautiful wedding photos” from another…point of view. It is what we call… Memories !

Many people wonder what is the secret of a successful wedding day. Is the decoration, the venue, the photos, the wedding dress, the music, the food or maybe all of that together?

Having photographed more than 1,500 weddings in the last 20 years, we can assure you that a successful wedding day has nothing to do with any of this…

Of course, all these do count in some way, so that you have a beautiful ceremony, but the essential secret of success is hidden elsewhere.

It is hidden in your predisposition, in the mood of your friends and relatives, it is hidden in random events that will make you laugh and cry in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it… since it is not up to you or something you can plan and organise.

One of our most recent weddings we captured, was that of Amy and Carlos. Two young people, full of energy and life, among relatives and friends who were at their wedding not out of obligation but out of a real desire to participate, celebrate and honour the couple.

They attended the wedding to laugh, joke, have fun, get excited or even cry out of emotion. Emotions, so strong, so intense from the beginning of the day in the preparation of the bride and groom, until the end of the day. They had no problem, standing outside in heavy rain and laughing even when they got completely soaked.

Photos can describe these feelings… and the best part is that these wedding photos will remain as a memory of this wonderful day.
